Balance between face-to-face learning, e-learning, coaching and mentoring and surrounding support programmes:

  • The programme modules are delivered in a blended environment comprising face to face learning, e-learning, distance learning, project work and individual action plans.
  • E-learning supports face to face learning as a reinforcement of training delivered and to stretch more senior delegates with more challenging content
  • Coaching and mentoring supports individual delegates to change their behaviour following the programme while implementing their new skills & knowledge
  • A marketing support programme is developed as a set of tools designed to reinforce learning and consolidate application in the workplace following training

In practice:

  • Clear Learning Outcomes aligned with the Marketing Competency Framework for every module
  • Reflection and key learning at the end of each module
  • Practical application of ‘theory’ in each module – a task in smaller groups will take place at regular intervals where the learning is applied
  • Delegates to work on own brands sometimes, and other brands/ disease areas too to maximise learning opportunities
  • External speakers, especially customers to bring a ‘real world’ perspective to the training
  • Action planning – delegates commit to specific actions for their brands and in the operational planning process. Ensures that they translate theory into practice
  • Keypad quiz enables comparison of knowledge at start and end of training, and gives immediate feedback
