Debbie has over 25 years Marketing and Sales experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. With an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and an MA from Oxford University she has enjoyed a highly varied career leading projects across the globe, including developing and leading the AstraZeneca Brand Building programme, Marketing Excellence, Salesforce Effectiveness, Campaign Development and as Director or Sales Productivity.
Debbie started her career with Merck and Co, before moving to Astra in the UK where she was responsible for a number of product launches including the hugely successful Losec “Everyday People” campaign. She went on to become Business Unit Head and Head of Commercial Sales, developing a strategic plan for the whole of the commercial enterprise.
She has worked closely with leading consultants McKinsey, Boston Consulting and ZS Associates on projects across Europe, Latin America, Australia and Asia, including leading portfolio optimisation programmes in India, China and Japan.
Debbie is a skilled trainer and dynamic presenter with a strong analytical but pragmatic approach with experience of taking projects to completion. She has led Salesforce Effectiveness programmes in Russia, Austria and Hungary and prides herself on the importance of careful planning, positive energy and execution through clear alignment.
