David Horton has spent 23 years in the pharmaceutical industry, working at GD Searle, Sandos and Novartis in both Human Resources and Marketing and Sales. Since 2004 David has concentrated on consultancy and to date has worked with several major pharmaceutical companies across the globe on Marketing and Sales Excellence Projects.
Initially he started his career in HR, reaching director level at a young age using his unique training and development approaches which focused on sales and marketing functions.
Moving away from HR David focussed on marketing and sales. He took on increasingly more senior roles within brand management, marketing management, marketing operations and development and marketing science.
During this time David undertook three brand launches along with input to many more. He was responsible for introducing ETMS and CRM systems as well as leading the UK introduction of “Marketing Powerhouse” before undertaking this on a global scale for Novartis across 80 countries.
